Salamat kay Ninang Kleyr (a.k.a. B1) para sa kick-ass sippy cup na ito. Actually, hindi pala sippy cup ang tawag dito. Ito raw ay magic sportster bottle. Taray lang ng Avent para sa mga ganito ka-astig na mga produkto. Hindi raw tutulo ang milk o kahit ano pang laman ng bote hangga't hindi sinisipsip ng baby. Dahil diyan, hindi na uulan ng gatas sa aming kama, sofa, crib, at kung saan man inabutan ng gutom si Potling at nag-trip na mag-basbas ng gatas sa paligid.

Ayaw namin ni Dadda ng laces and ruffles maski noon pa. Feel namin ang pormang simpleng preppy pero sweet. Ito ang outfit. Empire cut (tama ba?) na blouse with brown ribbon and flower designs. Kulay mocha ang top at brown capri pants ang partner. Ang shoes ay simpleng trainer-walking shoes.
Ito na si Potling a few minutes bago nag-ceremonial happy-birthday-to-you-blow-the-candles moment.
May pansit for long life and prosperity sabi ni Chinese tradition.
May litson manok sabi ng... hmm sino ba nagsabi? Sabi namin. May kapartner itong kanin syempre pa. Pero wiz na picture. Alam naman nating lahat ang itsura ng kanin - Sinandomeng to be precise.
Ang pica-pica na tinuhog na hotdogs at marshmallow ay kinalakihan ko. Bata pa lang ako nangengealam na ko sa paggawa nito kaya dream come true ang makapaghanda ng ganito (hindi pa ako nagkakaboypren ay pinangarap ko na ang makagawa nito para sa aking anak, thank you Potling at kay Dadda sa moral support). Salamat sa aking inay, kay Shyness at Bebang sa tulong.
Mawawala ba ang ice cream? Hindi maaari. Bilang paggunita rin ito ng ilang galong ice cream na tinira ko habang pinagbubuntis si Potling. Weh, di naman ako nagka-pregnancy diabetes no! Che!
Because this is a happy happy birthday event... let's open happiness with the quintessential there's-a-valid-reason-to-be-unhealthy-today drink of our family!
Finally, thank you sa "Ice Ice Baby" ang tindahan malapit sa aming bahay para sa steady supply ng tube ice.

Hindi naman dahil matakaw kami. We just noticed that the traditional birthday cakes aren't as yummy as those baked for yumyum purposes. For purposes of tradition, we got the rectangular version of this:

April 4, Easter Sunday. Dadda and I (on ever-reliable Mr. Bogart), searched the empty streets of Makati for these bundles of delight. The Pasong Tamo branch failed us. Thanks to Red Ribbon, Jupiter Street, for making our cakes pretty and ready for lunch! Pagbabalik ni Potling sa Max's kung saan siya bininyagan!
It's not the same branch though. Pero still, this is Max's. And this is her first dine-in experience.
Behave si Potling sa high chair. Hindi umiiyak, hindi nagmamaktol. Kung sino-sino lang ang nginingitian. At medyo nakaka-shy lang ang pagka-friendly ni Potling dahil nakatitig siya sa family na nasa kabilang table madalas. Sabi nga ni Dadda ay ilipat ko na raw ng mesa at mukhang gusto mangapitbahay.
Love ni Potling ang Soup of the Day. Halos maubos niya ang isang serving, inawat lang namin. The next day, inaantay namin kung may bad effect ang cream o kung anumang dairy na nilagay sa soup. Wala naman. So check!!! Sa muling pagbabalik, mas maraming soup pa ang puwede niyang kainin.
